A tragedy for the SMM specialist is the lack of social media post ideas. When you’ve told your followers about a thousand ways to use a product, congratulated them on the day ketchup was invented and the professional holiday of drivers, held a contest and even summarized its results, and you still need to post, consider these tips: sharing the places where you can endlessly look for ideas for new social media posts and blog posts.

And we want to talk today about what you can post on social networks, and where you can find more social media post ideas.

Where to get social media post ideas?

The standard approach — brainstorming and others

Methods of generating topics for articles were invented many years ago, and there are many. Brainstorming, unconscious writing, drawing, meditation, sleep and rest, walking in the woods, observing birds and animals, classical music… Everyone finds their own methods for awakening the creative unconscious. You can do it yourself or google something like “how to find a topic for content” and get hundreds of sites where authors have collected different content ideas. If we reduce them to a shortlist based on our knowledge of what goes best on social media, we get options like this:

  • Short tips on the topic of your product or service.
  • Industry news + invitations to the discussion.
  • Selections of posts/articles.
  • Topical videos that are of interest to the audience — even if they’re not yours.
  • Photos of company employees.
  • Thanking subscribers for something.
  • Congratulations on the holidays.
  • Answers to frequent questions.
  • If you don’t have any other ideas, use these, they work!

Inspirational approach

There’s a network you can log on to in the evening and sit up until the first roosters. It’s Pinterest.

This site has such a recommendation system that you can surf through the pics endlessly. But in general, it’s a service not for storing pictures but for storing visual bookmarks. Almost all of the images are linked to the site where they are located. Most often, these are thematic blogs or online stores. Online stores can be ignored, but theme blogs are your helpers in finding ideas for content.

All it takes is patience. How does it work? You write about online marketing. You find an article on the topic by keyword — and you can do a lot of useful things with it. Translate and print with authorship (this is called content curation), take just the title and divulge the topic yourself, make a summary of the article and argue with some of its theses. And the great thing about all this is that the more you keep picture bookmarks on your boards, the more interesting the network will offer you.

Google Trends

Follow the news: react to current events with jokes or helpful material. You can find such events in the trends of any platform (for example, all current events are discussed on Twitter and can be found in the Trends tab).

Google Trends is an excellent way to find out what users are discussing on the web today — firstly, it’s your profession to be aware of high-profile topics, and secondly, you can find newsworthy topics that are relevant to your brand. And from them, you can get ideas for posts.

User surveys

Ask your audience what they’re interested in — that way, you’ll both get engagement and gather ideas for posts, which you convert into a list of topics. Offer to write ideas for posts — or problems with your community’s theme — in comments or responses to Instagram polls.

Discussions

The topics that get the most response from your audience — and therefore engagement in the community — are the ones that bother users. And what bothers people, they actively discuss. This can serve as ideas for posts. It’s pretty simple. Keep track of such discussions in comments in competitor communities, forums, and related sites.

Competitors

Track and analyze your competitors’ publications. You’ll understand which topics work best, which contest mechanics produce the best engagement, and which, conversely, don’t work. This way, you’ll have plenty of ideas for posts of your own that you can publish with a greater likelihood of their popularity.

Old publications

Scroll through your feed, refer back to your old content plan if you had one. You can re-post with updated data. Also, old articles can help you gather interesting comments and questions from users. They can become new publications. Very often, subscribers will throw up interesting topics on their own. You have to watch carefully.

What do I post on social media?

In all of our projects, we use essentially the same approach:

  • Attraction
  • Warming up
  • Selling

There are times when a business account has an audience that likes and comments but does not buy. Selling content presents products to subscribers, generates interest, and encourages them to buy.

It is important to approach the creation of selling content for social networks creatively: try the formats, see the result, and consider the effectiveness. We use all the content formats suggested in this article in our projects, and we are sure of their effectiveness.

Types of selling content

The main types of content that we classify as selling content:

  • discounts
  • promotions
  • reviews
  • selections
  • announcements
  • presentations

Discounts

Discounts are an important social media promotion tool for merchandise businesses in highly competitive niches targeting the mass consumer.

Often even a small discount becomes a deciding factor for customers.

When writing discount offers, consider:

Your competitors’ approach to discounts and the specifics of niche pricing, the peculiarities of your business processes, the size of the final profit, taking into account all sales in action.

IMPORTANT: discounts should increase profits through the projected increase in sales, not reduce it by reducing the check while maintaining or lack of growth in sales. Therefore, you should always carefully calculate them and analyze the results.

Let’s consider the options for discount offers.

Time-limited discounts

  • Weekend Discount

Every weekend, we can offer customers discounts on a new product that are only valid on those two days. This way, you encourage your audience to buy it now because the following weekend’s discount will be on other products.

  • “Only today” discount

This can be a significant discount on an item or category of items that last only one day — it’s like we’re saying to subscribers, “Buy at this price now or never.”

  • Long-term discount

Run long-lasting promotions for major purchases this way. This approach works well in the furniture niche. For example, you can run a month-long discount on kitchens or bedrooms in the furniture niche. For other niches with a high average check, that’s okay, too.

These types of purchases are not made spontaneously; you have to prepare for them. It would be foolish to lose a customer because you run a promotion from the 15th to the 18th, and their salary comes on the 20th.

  • Holiday discount

A good example of situational marketing is a holiday discount. Most purchases are made just in time for the holidays, so you can’t miss out on the major ones: Halloween, New Year’s Eve, Christmas, Fourth of July.

  • Event-driven discount

You’ve been promoting an event for a long time — attracting participants, warming up with useful content, and closing on a sale. And now the audience is here, so sell!

Create a good short-term offer and get results.

  • Discounts for specific segments of the target audience

Narrowing your custom audience to a specific segment works well. So people will recognize themselves as the hero of your publications, will associate their needs with your product. And then it will be quite easy for them to make a decision about buying your product.

Discounts on individual products

  • Discount on goods of a particular manufacturer

Most often, these kinds of discounts are done as a joint promotion with a manufacturer or distributor of goods. They allow you to attract a new audience, increase demand and increase profits and therefore are beneficial to both the supplier and the seller.

  • Discount on seasonal goods

Discounts at the peak of the season? Such a move won’t just fulfill your sales plan. It will seriously strengthen your customers’ loyalty to you.

  • Single item discount

This technique is often used to promote a new item, to increase sales of best sellers further, or — on the contrary — when selling items in low demand and take up space in the warehouse or on display.

When selling new products, don’t forget to collect feedback so that you can then use it in a warm-up to generate demand and increase sales at full value.

Discounts for targeted action

  • Discount for users of other marketing tools

When you have an additional task, such as promoting a mobile app, inviting to an event, subscribing to another social media account or messenger, use this format.

This way, you can kill two birds with one stone: increase sales and increase the effectiveness of another marketing channel.

  • Early booking discount

Early booking discount is suitable for tour operators, event organizers, narrow audience merchants, and several other niches.

This way, you can get the money you need to produce a product or organize a service in advance.

In addition, you actually form a preliminary list, which allows you to estimate the demand for the product.

  • Sales

The task of an offer with a big discount is to attract buyers’ attention and make them go to your site. After all, their choice may not stop at the super discounted model but at a more expensive option from your assortment.

Special discount formats

  • Discount for a certain amount

Show the discount amount not in percentages like most competitors, but in absolute numbers. This way, the user will clearly see the amount they will save.

Combining a discount with elements of engagement and warming up

  • Discount for answering a question

If the standard discount approach is losing popularity, shake up your audience in an original way. Choose a question so that it’s close to the business topic, but it’s not too complicated or special.

Promotions

Promotions are special offers where the emphasis is not on reducing the cost of goods but on obtaining an additional bonus. Often such ways of stimulating sales work better than discounts because they help to increase the average check and/or free the warehouse from goods of low demand.

A gift to the main product

  • 2 goods for the price of 1 (3 for the price of 2, etc.)

Offer customers two items for one price: for example, the more expensive item on the check. This method attracts those who want more items at a better price and increases the average check.

It is better to use this format to increase sales of low-priced goods.

  • 2 is cheaper than 1+1

This is a variation of the previous promotion, but there is a difference. It’s better to hold it when the goods in the check are relatively expensive, and the price of the items is about the same.

  • Accompanying goods as a gift

This is another kind of 2-for-1 promotion, but with an emphasis on the presale of related goods or services. Customers are often looking for a comprehensive product of several items.

The gift will be an interesting offer for subscribers at a low cost. At the same time, you’ll make money on the sale of the main product at full price.

  • A gift for purchase right now

Incentivize a purchase by offering the customer to get “something else.” And the gift can be a product from the company’s assortment.

  • Bonuses for purchase

This is a variant of an intangible gift. We offer additional client services for the purchase of “here and now.”

  • Participation in a drawing for a purchase

An additional incentive to make a purchase decision can be a time-limited advantageous offer: for example, participation in a raffle or the next promotion.

The customer is interested in getting even more value, and we increase the likelihood that he’ll come back to you again.

Cashback for a purchase

A purchase bonus can also be arranged in the form of a cashback, similar to bank settlements. This technique can be used if customers react weakly to the words “discount” and “bonus.”

  • Additional services for a purchase

Free shipping or installation is an effective marketing tool that also often becomes decisive in the choice. It’s essential for selling large items: furniture, refrigerators, washing machines, and other large appliances.

Free shipping is best offered when you reach a certain purchase amount so that logistics costs do not lead to losses. In addition, if a person is a little short of the minimum order, he is likely to buy something else to take advantage of this option.

  • Situational promotions

Don’t forget to give a “reason” for the current promotion. After all, although people buy on emotion, they want a rational explanation for the current conditions. Do you have the 33rd item in a particular category sold? Make a promotional offer in honor of it.

Product reviews

Reviews are essential for warming up (they help us remove objections) and selling (they show the product face).

The technique is quite simple: we choose one product (or category of products) and present it. This can be either a text description or a short video with a demonstration.

The reviews can be combined with discounts and promotions or created separately from them.

  • Product of the week

Choose the product you’ll be talking about all week. You can review each of its features in a separate post and include that product in the selections.

  • New product reviews

Talk about additions to the range or announce them by suggesting pre-orders.

  • A product in use

Show how to use your product in the real world. And if you give variation, great! That way, potential customers can try it on and see how it will fit into their reality.

  • Relevant product

Tell your subscribers why everyone should have this exact product and offer to buy it right now.

  • The choice of an influencer

People tend to believe in famous personalities. They want to be like them. They want to “try on” their lives. This format is most often used by big brands, which choose famous people as their ambassadors.

But there is another option: to monitor the publication of stars in social networks and events from the star chronicle. You can always find the right shots there.

Product selections

Product selections are a way to present several products at the same time and allow users to buy them: follow a link to a landing page, an online store, or write a direct message.

The choice of criteria by which selections can be assembled is endless and depends only on your creativity and assortment.

Selections can also be in text + image or video formats.

Selection by a certain principle

  • Selection of products by color

Customers are bored with the classics, and you have stale bright goods? We gather the corresponding selection, think out and announce the reason and let’s get to the sales!

  • Selection of goods in a certain style

Customers bored with the classics, and you’re stuck with a bright product? We gather the appropriate selection, think up and announce the reason and let’s move on to sales!

  • A selection of goods in a certain style

Show the richness of your assortment with your own eyes. Then everyone can find exactly what they need.

  • Selection of goods by price

Holidays are coming soon, and everyone will buy gifts? Or just want to please and pamper yourself, but not to empty your wallet?

Make life easier for your subscribers by offering them a ready selection of options. One post can include items up to $100/200/500.

  • Selection of goods for a specific purpose

You can find several products with a common attribute and collect them into a selection: this works for the sale and gives users interesting information.

  • A selection for a comprehensive solution

Help customers overcome the difficulty of choosing — give them a ready-made solution. For example, a selection of furniture for a baby’s nook would include a table, chair, and shelf in the right style, while a ready-made bow for a formal outing would include a dress, shoes, and a bag.

Tops

  • Bestsellers

Do you have an obvious sales leader? There’s a reason for that! Surely this product is very easy to use and ideal in terms of value for money. So tell as many of your potential customers as possible about it.

  • Top products in the category

A kind of top, which presents the sales leaders in one single category.

  • Top products with discounts

Another kind of top, where we focus on the best deals on products in the range.

Comparisons

Product comparison is another type of selection, where the reason for the presentation is to compare products with each other. Comparisons can also be made according to different criteria.

  • Battle of the goods analogs

This type of selection in the form of a game helps users choose favor of a particular product. Talk about the pros and cons, features, and uses of each and bump them together.

  • Want/Can

The “want/can” format works great for selling inexpensive analogs of premium products. Show the original and the product of your range, which can replace it.

Presentations

Presentations show the product face to face and create a desire to buy. Most often, they present new items in the range. But not only.

  • Premiere of a new product range

When a new product enters the range, it’s a great excuse to announce it to your subscribers. You may find someone who wants to buy it right away.

  • Last chance

When a product is new and moves out of the line, it’s the last chance for users to buy it.

Announcements

  • New product announcement

Prepare for the premiere of a potential bestseller in advance: prepare your audience for the premiere with a chain of warming posts indicating the timing of the premiere and the features of the novelty.

  • Schedule of events

This format is suitable for businesses that work by appointment — these are many areas of the service industry. Event planners can also use it.

As you know, engagement rate is a digital marketing term used to measure the level of interaction on any kind of content. In simple words, it’s a percentage of your audience that somehow reacts or responds to your content with likes, comments, shares, etc.

There is a simple formula that will help you to calculate the engagement rate. Let’s take Instagram as an example.

Engagement Rate = (Likes + Comments) / Followers x 100

So, how to understand whether your engagement on Instagram is good? There are industry standards by which you can check your results:

  • Less than 1% = low engagement rate
  • Between 1% and 3.5% = average/good engagement rate
  • Between 3.5% and 6% = high engagement rate
  • Above 6% = very high engagement rate

Instagram

An engagement rate on Instagram between 1% and 3% is ok. It is the average result we can see on most profiles. If your engagement rate is higher than 3%, it means that your audience is very engaged and reacts a lot to your content. If it’s below 1%, people are not very interested in what you are trying to show them.

Facebook

If we talk about Facebook, the reasonable engagement rate is 1-2% because Facebook’s filtering algorithm, EdgeRank, only shows your posts to about 16% of your total followers. With that in mind, it’s not surprising to see such a low engagement rate to be considered as good.

LinkedIn

You can easily calculate your LinkedIn account engagement rate by dividing post interactions by your total number of followers or by the number of post impressions. A good LinkedIn engagement rate is around 2%. Yes, it may be similar to Facebook, but we need to remember that we calculate by post and not by time period.

Twitter

A good Twitter engagement rate is considered to be 0.02% to 0.09% for each Tweet. The average rate in 2020 was 0.045%, and the average number of tweets from a brand was 5-6 per week.

To calculate your Twitter engagement rate, you need:

  • Likes + comments + retweets
  • /number of followers
  • /total number of tweets

There are a lot of things that influence the engagement rate on social media. For example, the exact time of posting, posting frequency, the number of followers, hashtags, content quality, and platform algorithms. So when you are deciding how to improve your engagement, make sure you consider it all. It’s an important metric to consider and should not be ignored when gaining new followers and growing your business’s social media accounts.

In fact, because of Covid-19, Facebook and Instagram activity increased 40%, and the number of Instagram Live and Facebook Live views doubled in one week. Staying online has since become more important than ever: People rely on social media to stay in touch with friends, read the news and have fun. Those dealers who know they have to fight for their customers have used social media for their interests and have been markedly successful. They help promote business, and that’s a fact. But a successful commercial profile is all about engaging content that guarantees engagement and reaches. Not sure where to start? We’ve put together some great Facebook posts ideas that your audience will definitely like.

What are users interested in?

How a car brand communicates with its audience on social networks depends on many factors: on the positioning of the brand, on the tasks the brand sets itself, on the target audience itself. Nevertheless, the friendlier and less formal the brand communicates, the more response it gets from its followers.

Another essential characteristic of successful communication is the presence of a humorous component in the maintenance of communities. Of course, the news and technical characteristics of cars are interesting for both current and potential subscribers of the brand. Still, people visit social networks first of all to have a rest, and, besides, posts with good humor have viral potential and will spread on the Internet.

In general, when conducting social networking in the auto dealership field, as in many other areas, a bright and attractive picture and a short but concise text are valued. Images for this format are either provided by the brand from its own photobanks or, alternatively, UGC content (user-generated) is collected, and separate photoshoots are conducted.

Useful Material

Facebook is ideal for sharing the latest information and expert tips relevant to your audience. Inbound marketing is based on valuable material that informs, inspires, and educates. Many car dealerships also have a blog that contains many interesting facts about the auto industry. So why not share them with your followers? By posting a beautifully designed article post with a link, you can get new visitors to your site while providing valuable information.

Meeting the employees

Buying a car is an exciting process for many customers. Psychology dictates that people want to know who they are dealing with. A faceless business is very difficult to trust. People are more willing to go after a person rather than a brand. With this in mind, use Facebook to introduce your co-workers to potential customers. Take a quality photo of your employees with written details that explain their role in representation in a fun and friendly way. Or you can go one step further and make a video that allows the employee to introduce themselves to future clients personally. Employees can also talk about their hobbies, professional experiences, and what motivates them most at work.

Social responsibility posts

Many automotive brands are looking for ways to continue operating in a crisis and help society cope with new challenges, such as Covid-19. Show your audience that you share the common burdens, as the focus of social responsibility has shifted to fighting the virus as a clear priority. The involvement of every business in solving problems facing the entire community has never been more relevant. You can tell your audience, for example, how you organized vaccinations for your employees. This type of automotive Facebook posts is not only engaging but also shows you as a responsible company!

FAQ

In online consulting, clients may often ask the same question. And such questions pile up. It makes sense to create separate posts with detailed answers to them—you can even divide them by subject to collect many posts. Of course, these questions need to resonate with the business because the main task of a commercial profile is to promote a product offering. For example, talk about the guarantees you provide, your payment system, what brands you represent, etc.

Feedback

You don’t have to create your own content to promote a business account on Facebook. Sometimes users can do it for you. A satisfied car owner can take a photo of the purchased model near their home and share it with you, as well as add a few words about your service and their impressions of working with you. All you have to do is make the post and share it on the company page.

Contests

Grab the attention of existing customers and get new ones by running contests or giveaways on Facebook. Increase engagement by leaving a comment, so people can enjoy interacting with your brand and get something out of it.

Surveys

Another effective way to boost profile activity is to publish content with a survey. You can link the survey to a business topic, for example: What color car do you like best: black or gray? Have you already ordered a test drive at home? You can also use hot topics. Followers want to feel involved and get a chance to voice their opinions. But creating surveys like this requires caution and thoughtful content.

Help with choices

Don’t assume that your potential customers know everything about cars. Sometimes even the most trivial things at first glance cause them a lot of questions: What model is best suited for a family of 5 people? What extra features should I choose for my car? What car is suitable for a novice driver? Unlike the answer to a frequently asked question, such a post helps the client with a purchase, pushes them to it, in some way replaces the consultant. It’s worth keeping in mind that this is not a story about the business but quite a detailed action guide. This is a very useful type of Facebook posts.

Be open and friendly

Openness in SMM is the new black. By getting closer to the people, many companies have long reaped the benefits of customer loyalty. And even if you’re not ready to publish your annual report to your audience yet, be open in your communications. After all, social networks are designed to get closer and erase the boundaries between the customer and company.

Down with the formal answers—become friends with your client.

Engage in dialogue, respond to comments, ask questions

Communication with your audience won’t come out of anywhere. It needs to be developed. There are plenty of tools to help you make this happen: interactives, infotainment, and especially questions at the end of posts.

Show your audience that you care about their opinion—ask them about a new car, their favorite car brands, or experiences with specific models. By the way, it’s also a way to get valuable feedback.

And if a follower comes with a question in the comments, don’t ignore it under any circumstances. Even if you’ve delivered the question to the appropriate department, notify the person. Assure them that a solution is on the way. After all, few people like waiting.

The bottom line

So, those were the top 8 ideas for automotive Facebook posts. We hope this article was helpful for you, and that these ideas will bring you many new satisfied customers!

To get more followers on your Facebook page nowadays, when the channel floods with insights, is not an easy task. You need to have a to-do list of time-tested methods to boost the process. Facebook is a social media channel teeming with people and it can become the best online home for your business. It gives your business one major benefit – a free online presence – and many opportunities to extend its influence beyond your existing connections.

The State of Facebook Today

Facebook encourages marketers to think of their Page as a “digital storefront” that allows real Facebook fans to discover your business. As of the third quarter of 2021, Facebook had 2.91 billion monthly active users, which makes it a network far too big to ignore.

Number of monthly active Facebook users worldwide as of 3rd quarter of 2021 (in millions).

According to Backlonko, Facebook adds over 500,000 new user accounts every day, which equals 6 new profiles every second. Additionally, Facebook’s current daily active user growth rate is around 7.8% year-over-year, down from 12.9% in 2018.

Why You Need a Facebook Business Page

I can’t stop saying that Facebook has a lot to offer. The main benefit of creating a Facebook company page is that it’s free and versatile. You can connect with customers, advertise, share information, use many free page tools and insights. It has analytics, where you can track the efficiency of what you do.

Additionally, current opinion-makers and influencers in online marketing believe that social is the new SEO. It’s good to remember that Google crawls social websites for data just like it crawls any other website. This can lead us to the assumption that the pages we have on social can influence our website’s ranking in the search engine. Therefore, a Facebook page not only personalizes your relationships with the audience. The more people share it, the better is Google’s opinion of your brand’s website. To gain more authority, it’s essential to get more Facebook followers.

why you need a Facebook business page

On the flip side, Neil Patel’s investigation has shown that “you may only be able to generate only 2 visitors a month for every 100 followers you have, but that scales as you grow your social following on every network.” What is the actual lesson we can learn from all this data? It seems there is no sense in leading your Facebook business page without expanding its reach to more followers.

Invite Friends to Like Your Page

Friends will likely become your first real followers on Facebook after you create a Facebook page for your business. You can kindly invite them to like and follow your page and Facebook will encourage you to do so. After you invite a certain number of people, their friends will see it in their feeds and visit your page as well. Make sure that you have a little bit of enticing content before the invitation takes place. You need to capture your potential follower’s attention and the best way to do it is with thumb-stopping content.

PromoRepublic has a library of premade posts and can help you create great visual content in its Editor, so you won’t have to spend too much time on your first steps. It will also allow you to schedule content for automatic posting, suggesting time slots that work best for specific types of content during the week. It’s a good tool to explore before you start working to increase followers on Facebook.

To make your colleagues’ friends express genuine interest in your page, post photos of your team and newcomers whenever they get the job. You can also do it through PromoRepublic.

Find Followers on Facebook Groups

One free little trick that really makes you gain Facebook followers is to become a member of Facebook groups as a page. Then everything you post will appear under the name of your page and your logo. You’ll be able to interact and discuss things as a page and, believe me, people will immediately visit your page once they see something new. In fact, you’ll be able to invite anyone who engaged with your post:

how to invite people to like your page on Facebook

To get accepted into a group on Facebook and pass moderation, you’ll need to fill in some information about yourself and follow its rules. But it’s worth it. Imagine your discussion or post goes viral in the group and gets more likes than you expected. It will immediately reach thousands of people whom you’ll be able to invite to follow your page.

Here’re some of the best practices when Facebook groups come into play.

  1. Choose to become a member of the group from your business page.

joining a Facebook group

  1. Post content you think best fits the group’s interests.
  2. Don’t overspam – publish only relevant and good content.
  3. Ask questions and participate in the discussions. A group full of people will definitely express interest in your business page.

Post at the Right Time

Posting at the right time is an effective way of getting more likes and shares on Facebook and expanding the reach of your page to new horizons of followers.

In April 2019, Zephoria collected information and updated a study saying that a spike in Facebook users’ activity falls on Thursdays and Fridays. The overall engagement rate tends to be 18% higher on Thursdays and Fridays, compared to other weekdays. Also, learn when to post on Facebook based on your specific niche:

Partner with an Influencer

You don’t need to find Facebook followers manually and spend most of your time asking people to follow you. If you have a business page, partnering with an influencer in your field is a no-brainer. But don’t be misled by a huge number of followers influencers have, rather find someone whom people trust the most. Check the activity under the influencers’ posts to determine if their followers are real and if there’s trust.

There are three types of influencers, according to Social Media Today:

  • Mega-influencers are famous people that have millions of followers.
  • Macro-influencers have between 100K and 1 million followers.
  • Micro-influencers have fewer than 100K followers.

You don’t necessarily need to partner with a mega-influencer, even micro-influencers who have fewer than 20K followers may have great engagement rates. To find an influencer, you can do a manual search or use tools like Social Bond or LeadFuze.

Ask People to Tag Your Page

Getting Facebook page followers doesn’t stop with all of the steps above. In addition to them, you can ask people to @tag your page whenever someone shares your post.

To be efficient, this method should go together with a call-to-action for people to follow your page, though. Otherwise, it just brings more traffic to your website. Here’s a kind of a private message you can use to ask people to tag your page:

Hi! It’s Irene. I’m a big fan of what you do on social and the fact that you shared my post really flatters me. Could you please @tag my page as I’m trying to grow my following? Keep up the good work and let’s get in touch in the future.

To get the attention of influencers, you may want to tag them in your post. Just put @ mark (without space), start printing the name in the text box until Facebook makes suggestions, and then choose the appropriate name. If the name you’re referring to gets bold, you’ve done it right.

Use Automation Tools to Gain Followers on Facebook

If you’re in the Facebook boat, you’ll need to keep your posting schedule consistent. But it’s difficult to outperform competitors in terms of post ideas and visual content especially if you’re a young business or freelancer. To kill two birds with one stone – post frequently and post great things, sign up to PromoRepublic. This smart social media tool has many things a marketer needs to build a presence on social. Let’s face it – brands have to live up to their audience expectations.

Instagram is one of the most friendly and attractive social media for each and every aim. It suits unique people that just like to share photo moments of their lives, for influencers with big audiences and different types of content. Also, it’s good for brands and any type of business. You can create lots of content with a long story or be adept at microblogging, but one is common for all kinds of content — on social media that is called Instagram.

So when you want to have a good account with quality content, you need to make it unique and memorable for users. They should remember you during lots of common accounts and watch for your posts. Except for interesting and beautiful visuals, posts need to include good texts. And they should be easy to read.

Texts are easier to read when they’re not solid and consist of spaces and line breaks. But sometimes Insta doesn’t allowed to do them and your interesting text turns into a lots of words that are hard to read. That’s a real problem and we need to solve it, right?

In this post, I’ll show you a variety of techniques to add line breaks to Instagram, so you can see your variants and choose the best one for you from this list.

Use special websites

On of the easiest ways to create Instagram line breaks is to visit a website where you paste in your Instagram bio or caption. Then it generates a version of your post with line breaks that is allowed to copy and paste back to Instagram. There are quite a few of these websites, but my favorites are:

All websites are different and unique so they have their pluses and minuses, advantages and disadvantages. But it all contains a box with spaces for your text and an option to copy this text into Insta. Do we need more? I don’t think so.

Instagram apps with line breaks

Well, browsers and websites are good enough, but some people don’t like it and prefer apps. It’s useful and you don’t need to use your keyboard. Just a joke, it’s a question of preference. Here are some of them:

Space

Postme

Caption writer

They are safe to download and use, so if you prefer this way — feel free to use. The app interfaces are fairly straightforward, but the free versions are ridden with ads so the user-experience isn’t great. You can upgrade to the paid versions of these apps so that you can use them without annoying ads. All will depend from your needs, but usually free versions are enough.

Add spaces and line breaks in Instagram app

After you type the text into an Instagram box of text, use your smartphone’s keyboard and just push the button of space or line break. But there is one secret — there shouldn’t be a space place between cursor and punctuation marks. Doing so will cause Instagram to smush the two paragraphs together and ignore the space all together.

Follow these steps if you have an Iphone:

  1. Turn on number’s menu by touching 123
  2. The button “Enter” will appears and you should press it. It will help you to separate your text.

Follow these steps if you have an Android:

  1. Just press ENTER. That’s all. Really.
  2. Keep in your hand that there shouldn’t be space between cursor and punctuation marks. That’s important, really.

So, we solve problems with posts. What’s about bio?

It’s not your fault. Just Instagram’s specificity. We offer you to cope secret space here: «⠀». Yes, there it is. Copied? Okay! How should you use it?

  • Open your bio with whole text
  • Delete the previous space
  • Go to the new line and copy the space above
  • Then go to the new line

Spaces in Insta are important

Honestly, it’s easier to read the information when it has structure and order. Also when you get lots of information during the day it can make a little mess in your head. I promise, posts and accounts with structure should make an order in users’ heads and you will be remembered by them.

Call-to-action buttons to look more professional

Calls to action aren’t just important for business – customers want and expect them. Many people depend upon the CTA somewhere on your profile. They’ve read your ad copy, are interested in engaging with your brand, and look for the CTA button to learn what to do next. Omitting the CTA can confuse readers and hurt your chances of sealing the conversion. CTA buttons make it easy for customers to do what you want them to do. That’s good for them and good for business.

There are some circumstances when you want your brand to be predictable. Predictability makes your company trustworthy and easy to engage with. The CTA is one area where it pays to be as predictable and intuitive as possible. Visitors look for your CTA buttons and feel confused and disappointed when they don’t find them. Strong calls to action on social media are expected parts of the campaign.

A call to action is the finishing touch on any type of content and on your Instagram page too. It is the cherry on top that every user (consciously or subconsciously) wants. Your lead has read or at least scanned your content, and may be on the fence about taking the next step. The right CTA at the perfect moment can push the person in the right direction, sealing the conversion and ideally creating a loyal customer. The CTA can be a subtle or blunt way to tell your customer that he or she should take action now for the best benefit.

Whether you use your CTA to create a sense of urgency or to gently steer your users toward the checkout line, the important thing is that you use it. Ignoring the CTA is a rookie mistake that could make your numbers drop drastically. So, if you think about your Instagram account improvement, let your call to action shine. The results will follow.

The use of social media platforms has become an integral part of any marketing strategy. It can help your company attract customers, get feedback, and increase customer loyalty.

Real estate is no exception. If used correctly, social media can help to start a conversation, share advice, and build long-term relationships with buyers, sellers, and renters.

In this article, we will share the benefits of using social media for real estate, as well as tips for creating content, and a list of the best social media platforms for real estate.

How to Effectively Use Social Media for Real Estate to Grow Your Business

If you work in real estate, you know how hectic it can be. You must prioritize your time and concentrate on the types of content and the social media platforms that will benefit you and your business the most. We’ve created this guide to help you with this task. Let’s get started!

Why You Need Social Media for Your Real Estate Business

First, let’s find out why real estate businesses need social media. Real estate agents can use social media to reach a large audience. According to recent research, 97% of all homebuyers used the internet to conduct their home search. It would be foolish to miss out on great advertising opportunities by failing to utilize easily accessible social media platforms.

Social media has proven to be one of the most effective ways to interact with potential buyers and build a business online. The main benefits of using social media for real estate include cost-effective reach, targeted ads, brand reinforcement, and instant engagement.

Social Media Tips for Real Estate Businesses

Creating a social media profile for your business isn’t enough. To grow an audience and outperform the competition, you need to follow certain rules.

  • Focus on quality content

You must create high-quality content to gain followers on social media. Make a research on what questions interest people. Check out industry forums, comments under popular real estate posts, videos and articles, or websites like Quora, which gathers common questions on a variety of topics.

You can mix and match the most basic and frequent questions with the most unusual and sophisticated ones. Always try to write down any useful advice or ideas that come to mind and then include them in your content calendar.

  • Provide real value

Present yourself as an expert in your field. Share useful and informative original and curated content, make sure you are solving your followers’ problems, organize Q&A sessions to answer all their questions, and share tips and tricks live. Make it regularly. Provide consistent value in your social media posts.

  • Use professional marketing tools

Use professional marketing tools to make your content look more professional. Some social media tools enable users to schedule and post to social media automatically, while others assist in the creation of engaging visuals. Professional marketing tools can also aid with customer surveys and in gathering customers feedback.

  • Track your progress

All major social media platforms offer professional-level analytics, allowing you to determine which content your audience responds to the most, as well as the best time and format for sharing it.

It’s also possible to do A/B testing with the same content. Try posting the same content in a variety of formats, such as text, image, or video, and see which one performs better.

  • Use targeted ads

Don’t wait for customers to come to you organically, this will most likely never happen. Posting high-quality engaging content might help you to gain an audience, but the competition is fierce. Therefore, you must keep up with your competitors and use targeted ads.

With targeted ads, you have the opportunity to show your content to the people who are most interested in it. It also gives you the opportunity to spend your marketing budget more efficiently. Targeted ads can also help to raise brands awareness.

Top Social Media Platforms for Real Estate

To help you get the most out of social media, we’ve compiled a list of the best social media platforms to promote your real estate business.

Facebook

When it comes to selling real estate, Facebook is a powerful tool. This social network needs no introduction. Globally, the platform has 2.85 billion monthly active users. Facebook has a number of useful features, including targeted advertising for local listings, Facebook Messenger for client chats, Facebook Stories for updates, and the ability to share a variety of multimedia formats, including photos, videos, and live videos. You can use the platform to post listing-related updates, schedule appointments, communicate with clients, and manage feedback.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a business-oriented social media platform. It’s ideal for running any serious business, including real estate. You can not only find business owners who are looking for a suitable property, but also people looking for a new place to live.

By creating a professional-looking business account, you can attract contacts who will then spread the word about you. Leads can be generated through targeted advertisements or sponsored messages.

To get prospects’ attention, share blog posts, industry news and research, quick tips, photo and video listing updates, and company updates.

Instagram

Instagram (IG) is a social media network that allows users to share high-quality visual content. Your success on IG is determined by visual content. High-quality visuals give your page credibility and help customers trust you.

Provide high-resolution images and videos with your listings and updates in the main feed and in IG Stories. Make sure they are eye-catching. The content should display enough of the property to interest the potential client, while hiding some key details to force them to schedule an appointment to see it for themselves.

TikTok

TikTok is a social media platform dedicated to short videos. You can create, share, and discover these videos there. Many people underestimate the power of TikTok. Although the social media platform is relatively new, it is already seen as a major player among platforms that aid in the sale of goods and services.

Realtors can benefit from sharing high-quality, creative videos that show the value of owning a home. You can also share behind-the-scenes footage of your real estate business, property highlights set to popular music, real estate tips, lists of truths and myths, and answers to common questions.

Pinterest

Pinterest is a visual social media platform where users can create and share boards, pins, and shop. The benefits of using Pinterest for business include brand awareness and a greater potential customer base. Thanks to their algorithms, Pinterest posts have the longest lifespan among all social networks.

We’ve put together some board ideas that you can use on your Pinterest profile: real estate community boards, neighborhood information, the best real estate articles, house listings, home renovation projects, and inspiration for interior & exterior design. Be sure to include a description, link, and board when pinning.

Youtube

YouTube is a video-sharing platform where users can watch and upload videos. With 2.29 billion users, it is ranked second-most used social media platform worldwide. Realtors can use YouTube to attract thousands of new leads for their businesses.

You can gain an advantage in the real estate market by uploading quality informative videos on YouTube. To get started, consider creating videos on property listings, neighborhoods, your company or a specific realtor, client testimonials, videos explaining real estate, and tips.

Twitter

Twitter is a social media platform that allows people to communicate with each other and allows them to share their ideas with a large audience.

People enjoy reading threads on Twitter, so use the platform to tweet educational content about your industry. You can also share industry news, advice, ideas, and link to real estate offers from your website. Don’t forget to use hashtags in your posts.

Conclusion

Social media is an important part of socializing in the digital age. Most businesses use it to advertise their services and engage with their target audiences.

The two worlds of law and social media marketing aren’t always compatible. It is difficult for marketers to follow all regulatory rules and not break them.

This article will provide a guide on how lawyers and marketers should use social media marketing to grow their law firms and not break the law, as well as which tools can assist them in doing so. Follow these tips to increase your reach and gain new clients.

Social Media Marketing Guide for Your Law Firm – Attract Clients

Social media is a great way to get in touch with clients. Make sure that all of your social accounts are professional-looking and easy for people to find you on! Lawyers should always have their contact information linked somewhere easily accessible on social media sites.

What is Social Media for Lawyers

We all use social media, and it seems that we all use it in the same way. However, if you work as a lawyer, you cannot afford to act like everyone else. Lawyers and law firms have a responsibility to utilize social media in an ethical manner so that no one is harmed.

It’s vital to clarify why lawyers’ social media profiles are different from regular social media accounts. We’ll do it down below.

The American Bar Association (ABA) has developed rules for lawyers’ ethical usage of social media. This set of recommendations includes themes such as social media confidentiality, discussing hypothetical or anonymized cases online, and engaging in behaviors that appear to be a conflict of interest. It also goes into detail on using social media to advertise and seek clients.

In essence, the ABA considers any communication to a potential client that discusses the lawyer’s services to be advertising and is subject to ABA Rule 7.3: Client Solicitation.

Just remember that the ABA’s instructions are just that. You’ll still need to check your state bar association’s standards to make sure your marketing activities are legal. The ABA instructions, on the other hand, should give you a clear idea of the limits you’ll need to follow.

How to Do Social Media for Lawyers

If you want to use social media as a lawyer or law firm, you should follow some common guidelines. They are as follows:

Consideration of jurisdiction

Individuals in any part of the country might be reached via social media posts. If a lawyer shares material outside of their practice jurisdiction, this could be a problem. Lawyers are forbidden from disclosing information that might lead the public to believe they are admitted to practice law in a jurisdiction where they are not licensed under American Bar Association (“ABA”) Model Rule 5.5(b)(2). As a result, lawyers must be cautious about the content they publish and where it is shared. When publishing on social media, lawyers should consider the following guidelines:

  • Double-check the information before publishing. On a public platform, avoid sharing information that could be interpreted as legal advice. Lawyers should provide clients with e-legal assistance privately in the form of a direct message or email. When lawyers are able to provide free legal advice to the public online, they must ensure that the recipients live in areas where they are licensed to practice law.
• Be aware of platform sharing options. Make sure the information you post on sites like Twitter or Facebook, where people can share information from around the world, is general and contains no legal advice. Generalized legal news updates and case summaries are examples of suitable themes.
  • Be open and fair about licensing and representation. Knowing what language and behaviors constitute an attorney-client relationship is critical for lawyers. “A person who consults with a lawyer about the possibility of forming a client-lawyer relationship with respect to a matter is a prospective client,” according to ABA Model Rule 1.18(a). Lawyers should include a notice of where they are licensed or a warning that their information is not intended to form an attorney-client relationship or give legal advice when publishing on social media platforms. This is especially true for lawyers who maintain a blog or post on social media platforms.

Legal services advertising

If you choose to advertise your services on social media, keep in mind that any information about your services distributed through any media, including advertisements, must be accurate and not misleading.

In addition, Rule 7.2 comment 12 states that “any communication about a lawyer or law firm’s services include the name of, and contact information for, the lawyer or law firm. Contact information includes a website address, a telephone number, an email address or a physical office location.” When placing an advertisement, this is a simple requirement that lawyers should not ignore.

Responsibility for non-lawyers

Lawyers are also liable for the activities of non-lawyers they hire, retain, or associate with throughout the course of their practice. This usually comprises law clerks and paralegals who work on case files with them closely. Lawyers are required to keep an eye on non-lawyers to ensure that they are acting ethically.

When a non-lawyer engages in unethical behavior on social media, lawyers may be held liable if they command, ratify, or refuse to take remedial action. Lawyers must ensure that their support personnel is aware of acceptable social media habits in the workplace because of this obligation. Hosting team meetings and training will help non-lawyers understand what is expected of them in addition to managing these employees.

How to Promote Your Firm Through Social Media for Lawyers

Follow these methods to get the most out of social media and effectively promote your law company.

  • Research your potential client

Start using social media with your target client in mind. Making regular posts that do not correlate with your audience’s interests is wrong and will not lead to any success. Your audience should be able to relate to your content. Take the time to get to know them, do some research, and come up with a unique strategy that works.

Start with the one or two social accounts that your audience utilizes the most if this is your first time utilizing social media for lawyers. This is where you should begin your research. To identify accounts that meet your target client’s demographics, look at recent social media usage statistics.

  • Choose social media channels that are relevant to your niche and target audience

Keep in mind that not all social media platforms will have your desired target segments represented. Choose a platform according to your needs and capabilities. LinkedIn and Facebook are definitely the first places you should put your marketing flag if you’re a corporate law firm. Twitter and Quora would also be good places to start.

  • Create a content marketing strategy

Social media marketing isn’t just about publishing whatever’s on your mind whenever you feel like it. You must post quality content on a regular basis to gain an audience and keep them coming back. What forms of content media to employ, how often to publish on social media, and how to measure the effects should all be part of your strategy. You’ll be able to adjust and remove content that doesn’t resonate with your audience this way.

  • Position your firm as an expert in this field

Being seen as an expert in your field instills confidence in your potential clients. Clients are more inclined to contact you if they trust you. It’s easier to establish yourself as an expert thanks to social media.

Link to materials from credible sites that are related to your professional area and provide value to your audience. Your personal blog posts should be linked to and commented on. Respond to clients’ questions on your blog postings. It’s all about demonstrating your knowledge and commitment to sharing it with others.

  • Engage with your audience

You should interact with your audience on social media to be successful. Everyone wants to be noticed and appreciated. Request feedback, respond to their queries, like their posts, and congratulate them on their accomplishments. Always remember to communicate with others in a respectful and ethical manner.

  • Use social media tools

Managing social media for lawyers is not an easy job. You should be careful, consistent, and useful. Different social media management tools aid marketeers in different niches in staying consistent, increasing brand awareness, and attracting clients for law firms or consulting firms.

How Much Should Lawyers Pay for Social Media Marketing

While maintaining a marketing department can be costly, you can save money by using social media marketing tools. The average monthly cost ranges from $9 to $125. Such solutions can assist you in staying on budget and easily managing all of your accounts across all social media platforms, allowing you to add multiple users and grant them access to administer an account.

Conclusion

Law firms should use social media platforms if they want to promote their legal services and gain clients. Of course, there are some concerns, as you will not be able to manage your social media profiles in the same way that other businesses do. All information shared should be double-checked and follow the instructions from the higher authorities. This could appear complicated at first, but with a little forethought and the right tools, you can use social media to your firm’s advantage.

Do you know that more than 70% of people all over the world use at least one form of social media? That’s not only a fun fact, it’s one of the main reasons why you should use social media as a tool for sales and communication with your audience.

We have some stats from one study, which was based on research findings from 2,000 car buyers and 2,000 service customers, and found some interesting facts to share with you.

  • 75% of people who buy cars and 68% of service customers say that social media and internet research was the most helpful medium when selecting a car dealership.
  • 83% of service customers are sure that review sites helped them in their choice of selection process.
  • 66% of automobile buyers or owners who have seen a Facebook ad say they have clicked on it, up from 33% in 2014.
  • Consumers looking to purchase or service a vehicle are doing their research primarily online, with 50% of recent car buyers and 69% percent of service customers saying they only visited one dealership before buying/servicing.

When it comes to car shopping, social media sites are literally one of the most important and useful influencers in a buyer’s decision making process. So, most marketing specialists understand that social media should be included in the marketing strategy of a car dealership’s business. For some, this may be simply having a Facebook page and posting content or pictures, while other brands have a fully integrated social marketing approach to generate leads and engage with customers. However, with more and more consumers turning to social, the automotive industry needs to get fully engaged with social selling.

The most “traditional” social media

It’s not a secret that most marketers prefer Facebook as a proven and effective social media for sales and communication with customers. You can target your advertising to selected part of people with a specific geo, age, gender, interests and even more. If you are one step short with Facebook Ads, you can easily engage an audience that will be interested in your page and cars.

Don’t forget about pics

You can hear about something a hundred times, but it’s better to see it once. As we know from some studies, millennials leave Facebook and use Instagram more. This app is used mostly on mobile phones and there are dominating pictures and videos, less texts. Instagram is a perfect way and platform to create some good and creative brand’s story. For example you can use attractive locations for your photoshoots and make them more interesting for followers which will see your content, follow your page and then visit a website with more info about your offers for selling.

Use new horizons

If we speak about less information and more visual components, it’s better to use Pinterest with pleasant images that can encourage people to buy a new car. A lot of marketing specialists think that you need to use just popular socials like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc. But storytelling with pictures is a perfect decision to introduce your service to new users that are searching for some beautiful stuff.

Yep, it seems that Pinterest is a kingdom of recipes, decorations, beauty things etc. But it’s easier to build your own personal brand between lots of similar accounts. Don’t be afraid to communicate with an audience of such a specific social. Pinterest is also great for building your SEO presence by sharing landing pages, pictures of your inventory, or pinning blog posts. This creates social signals which will in turn drive more traffic to your site.

Keep one’s finger on the pulse with Twitter

Twitter continues to be a popular choice among car owners and buyers. Some researchers say that Twitter brought $716 million in car sales. Using correct keywords and target will increase your sales.

This social network was created for easy communication between different people and appearing the information as fast as it can. If you use these two points in one marketing strategy for this social it performs very well. Also don’t forget to check your direct to communicate with potential customers!

Also memeing. Memes run the world and bring lo-o-ots of organic traffic to your account and, in fact, to your website.

Moving content for moving objects of sales

More that 80% of potential car buyers firstly watch videos with cars in which they are interested in. They search for more information about cars and assess possibilities on the road. Information about devices for automobiles is also searched at this video hosting. If you pay enough attention to your video content and Youtube channel, it can generate a lot of organic traffic to your website.

Every story begins with a name, every storytelling begins with an ideaAutomotive

It won’t be new information that social media is all about connection with people. Storytelling in social media is a perfect way to create your own catchy brand. When we hear about social, we usually imagine an account with information about any person. It’s his or her storytelling. So why can’t we create some kind of personal page for our brand?

Use social media as a discussing and communication platform with other users to develop loyalty to the brand. Share your knowledge, experience and “humanize” your brand. You can share some information about staff that work for this project and show real faces of your company. People will better understand and trust other people more than attractive words from the internet. Share some stories from backstage of your business, build some kind of HR brand etc. Don’t be ashamed to showcase your achievements and “real face”.

Communication is a major thing

Okay, you make great content, take amazing pictures and your texts are absolutely adorable. But what about communication with the audience? Be sure that you answer questions from followers, respond to all messages, be grateful to people that share your content and try to interact with users. Customers also prefer companies that respond fast. If you don’t monitore questions of your audience and don’t have enough time to talk with them, your competitors will do it instead of you and get some sales.

Each kind of social media is unique and different. People always can find something interesting and useful for them. Just follow 5 simple rules:

  • Be yourself
  • Create cool content
  • Talk with your audience same language
  • Check trends
  • Love things about what are you speaking to people which should love it too

From the very birth of entrepreneurial activity, there was a question — how to attract clients? This was of interest to merchants, artisans, and peasants alike. Times have changed. Companies, entrepreneurs, and agencies came to replace merchants and artisans. But the problem of attracting clients has remained. Perhaps in the last couple of years, it has become even more acute. Over the long history of its existence, knowledge about how to get clients has accumulated. And we decided to structure them in this article!

If you don’t want to waste time reading, you can get all the useful information at our academy. Our webinars have collected a huge amount of both basic and advanced useful information for business owners from the owners of a successful business. All of the information we’ve gathered is up-to-date and available for free.

And in this article, we’ve compiled the top 9 non-obvious but effective ways to attract more clients. So read on! But first, let’s determine whether there is a problem with agency growth at all.

Reasons why it’s not easy for agencies to find clients

Absolutely all agencies have problems with growth. During Smart Insights interviews, many agency founders said they have trouble finding new clients. Other respondents shared another problem – ranking for target keywords. And almost all of them reported tough competition.

Hubspot, in its 2018 Agency’s Growth Report, also found this problem:

Source: https://www.hubspot.com/

The study showed the following. 79% of agencies are confident they can close their clients. But only 60% are confident in their ability to attract new leads.

Source: https://www.hubspot.com/

But this data only points to the root of the problem — namely, the agencies’ inability to reach and attract the target market.

Why is this happening? Many people interviewed by Smart Insights reported relentless competition among large agencies and even freelancers. In addition, they drew attention to the oversaturation of marketing channels.

So it becomes evident that some advice is still needed. And below, we will look at some tips. Tips for people who wonder “How to get clients?” can be divided into two categories — tips for beginners and advanced ones. If your agency is still relatively new, here we’ll break down a few options you can use.

Tips for Beginners

Use freelance marketplaces

It’s easy to find profiles of both market leaders and smaller companies on international sites. For many agencies, freelance marketplaces become the main source to get clients at the beginning of their journey. Many newbies take on almost every task, from keyword selection to setting up analytics. You can use marketplaces even when you’ve already grown noticeably as an agency. But you’ll need to choose your clients more carefully. Look at business opportunities, client history, ability to pay, communication, and many other key factors. This source has both advantages and disadvantages. You may get a quick order, but you may not notice that the client is inadequate because of the speed. They can sabotage your profile with a single review.  Even if you are 100% right, marketplaces often take the customer’s side since they are the ones bringing them money.

Marketing buzz or recommendations

This is the most grateful way to get clients. It feels damn good when your clients are happy with your results and recommend you as a professional to their community. The loyalty of an audience that comes from a recommendation is maximized. Everyone loves those customers, and to get them, you need to do your work with high quality and give your clients more than they expect from you. Satisfied clients will talk about the quality of your services, and new people will seek you out on their own.

Also, don’t forget about the feedback on your site or other platforms! However, not many agencies ask their clients for it. Most wait and hope that a satisfied client will be able to share their impressions of your work. And sometimes, it does happen. However, at the current pace of life, most of your clients are simply too busy and may not think about the fact that you also need assistance in developing your business, albeit in such a non-time-consuming way. So don’t be afraid to ask for feedback on your work right away!

Create a corporate blog

When you wonder how to get a client, do not hesitate to publish your achievements and findings on your site. Such a way will give a good increase of traffic to the site, increasing the position in the organic search results, and attract the attention of your future clients and partners. With each published article, you can get several inquiries for your services. It also builds your reputation in the market as a specialist.

For example, you can write there not only about your niche but also about your colleagues. The agency’s reputation is created by its employees, and often clients want to go to a particular specialist. On this basis, the following conclusion — demonstrate the professionalism of your team and form an image of experts.

Use contextual advertising

Advertising your own services in search engines and social networks is another very simple but quite effective method of getting clients. From the previous point, an important point to remember comes to mind. To set up your advertising, you must have a user-friendly site — with examples of your work and prices. From the pitfalls of this method, we can note the high cost per click and a rather high conversion price.

One of the cheapest and most practical options would be to choose Facebook ads. In addition, this platform allows you to research your client’s gender and geographic location. This is a significant advantage when you are building a marketing strategy for your product among potential clients.

Don’t forget LinkedIn

Update your social media profiles, especially LinkedIn. Add your agency as a new place of work, include your position, and describe exactly what you and your agency do. It’s also a good idea to build a network of over 500 contacts and ask your clients or former colleagues to leave recommendations on your profile. Potential clients often check the agency and staff’s LinkedIn profiles before they ask for a service. And if you have few contacts or a poorly designed profile, it can be a reason to choose another agency.

LinkedIn is a good place to make the right connections. The main rule is not to send spam. If you have found the right person for you, first of all, find common interests with them. Before you sell something, try to get to the heart of their business and think about how you can really be useful to them.

Advanced Tips

So, we’ve looked at a few options for beginners. Now we are going to look at some more advanced ones. If you’ve used the options above before and are looking for something more unobvious, read on!

Become an expert and prove it

Becoming an expert in your niche is a good alternative to industry rankings for smaller agencies.

Often companies, before turning to an agency, try to do everything on their own. At the same time, they look for recommendations on working with platforms on various thematic resources. Your goal is to publish articles describing your approach to setting up campaigns, little know-how, and tips for beginners. When potential clients run out of options and start looking for a contractor, they are more likely to choose a brand that has already gained their trust with expert knowledge.

You can acquire it in other ways as well. If you can find a few extra hours and a sociable employee, hold a series of webinars on the types of services you specialize in. To do this, you can:

  • Arrange with educational platforms a series of educational masterclasses;
  • Hold webinars yourself, using one of the online services with a free account (e.g., Zoom); in this case, it will be more challenging to get coverage of your target audience because you will have to invest in advertising.

Try to give listeners at least one non-standard piece of advice. It will help stand out among the endless repetitions of basic things.

A more complicated but more effective option is to take part in industry conferences. Quite often, at such events, you can meet business owners. The list of speakers is usually confirmed several months in advance, so announce your desire to participate in advance. You’ll need a relevant topic, a few cases to illustrate your experience, and some preparation. There may be auditions for the selection of participants. You should come there with a ready-made public speech.

By the way, visiting conferences is also suitable for networking. Even if you are not a speaker, nothing prevents you from getting acquainted with the person sitting next to you and making new acquaintances during the coffee break.

In general, any publication of your own expertise in digital communities will be beneficial. These include discussions on Twitter, forums, groups in Slack, Telegram chats, and so on.

Participate in tenders

Usually, tenders are held by large companies when they want to buy something for a large sum. The client company announces a tender and invites several service providers to participate. The tender is held at a strictly scheduled time, during which all participants offer their prices and conditions.

Tenders are a great way to find a big client and make yourself known in the market. It is necessary to be able to offer comprehensive client solutions and a professional approach. Of course, it may be that you will not be able to work with the desired client on the first try. But that is no reason to give up. Start preparing, gathering information for the next stage, even if it will start in a year.

Of course, we would like to offer you some reliable algorithm or methodology for winning tenders. But they do not exist. Your victory will always depend on three factors:

  • Your competitiveness (how much you are willing to lower your price);
  • The correctness of the application (very often, participants are rejected for incorrect applications);
  • The ability to find tenders in which there will be few or no competitors.

Create the right expectations and emphasize the benefits

In the eyes of future clients, every agency wants to look like the best on the market. But there is a fine line between emphasizing strengths and creating inflated expectations. For example, the phrase “we’ll get you to the top of the search in 6 months” can be fair if you specify low-frequency and low-relevance queries for this.

It pays to be specific and realistic about future results. Unlikely optimistic predictions guide clients, and then they get disappointed and terminate the contract.

Real cases from your practice are an exception. If you managed to achieve impressive results at least once, you can and should talk about it. You can’t guarantee the same return from every campaign, but you can’t argue with the facts. Case studies are the best proof of expertise. Use them to demonstrate your advantage.

Become your own client and promote your marketing agency

This growth strategy may seem illogical, but it’s effective if you do it right. Clients know that the best way to measure your experience is through your results, not your promises.

Use your own services. When you become your client, it means you are determined and willing to deliver results for “yourself.” You will be able to promote your agency (as if another business had hired you).

In fact, you can use the results you get (perhaps an increase in rankings in organic search of your agency’s website) as proof that you’ll attract new clients. Case closed. You got clients and a great case study for your portfolio at the same time!

The bottom line

Bringing in new clients can put a lot of pressure on your team. Make sure you’re ready to take it on. Outsourcing and automation are the main companions of a growing agency, and it pays to deal with them before the number of orders grows. Also, don’t forget to update your knowledge of all new promotion methods. For example, you can take advantage of our webinars by industry experts.

Use agency-focused advertising automation systems. They make it easy to create and import client accounts across platforms, controlling all campaigns in a single window. Mass processing tools for keywords, budgets, audiences, and ads reduce the basic chore that’s inevitable when you start a new project.

ROI (up to 35% of ad spend) helps earn money at the expense of scale and serves as an additional motivation for sales. It also provides additional opportunities for bonuses and discounts — another reason to work with you.

Summarizing the article, we can say that there is no perfect method of attracting clients to your agency. It all depends on the individual characteristics of the brand. The criteria of success even in crisis remain the same: quality work, flair, professionalism, the ability to motivate the target audience. Always remember that sales are a systematic process, especially if you aim at large orders and long-term cooperation. People buy from someone they trust, and it doesn’t matter from what source the client came to you.
