How Archadeck Activated Franchisees to Publish 62% More Content Locally

Overview

archadeck overview

Archadeck is North America’s largest deck and porch builder, with more than 45 years of experience, and a member of the Empower Brands Family. With more than 70 locations across the U.S. and Canada, Archadeck recognized the need to streamline social media marketing, give franchisees more autonomy, and improve visibility for both the brand team and local owners.

PromoRepublic became a central platform to collaborate across the network and activate locations, making them more visible and discoverable for local customers.

Goals: Autonomy Within a Structured Framework

Empower Brands and Archadeck’s leadership set clear goals to strengthen franchisee engagement, local relevance, and brand oversight:

Increase autonomy for franchisees
Franchisees needed visibility into nationally scheduled posts so they could review and tweak them without compromising brand consistency. The goal was to give franchisees more freedom while maintaining alignment with the brand.
Gain better local visibility
The brand team needed a clear view across the network. Centralizing social scheduling on one platform would allow franchisees to post efficiently while the brand marketing team could monitor activity, ensure consistency, and make data-driven decisions.
Grow local relevance and engagement
Simplifying content creation and posting would encourage franchisees to be more active and increase post volume. By empowering them to share videos and raw, local content, Archadeck aimed to foster meaningful connections and stronger engagement with local audiences.
Leverage data to optimize performance
A centralized system would provide the brand team visibility into both brand-level and local activity, enabling benchmarking across locations and other brands in the portfolio. This would allow the brand team to identify high performers, coach and motivate franchisees, and optimize campaigns based on engagement data.

The Solution: One Central Hub for Social

Empower Brands selected PromoRepublic as the unified platform to manage social media across all 10 brands. For Archadeck, this was part of a company-wide effort to give franchisees more autonomy while keeping HQ in the loop.

PromoRepublic created a single space where Archadeck’s brand team and franchisees could collaborate. Franchisees could see what the brand scheduled, edit or move posts, and schedule their own content, while the brand team could track activity and performance across all locations. Everyone could see who was doing what, creating transparency and accountability.

The platform simplified sharing on-brand content, scheduling, and tracking performance in one place. Archadeck received a tailored rollout based on their goals and digital maturity, and PromoRepublic’s team worked closely with brand leadership to ensure a smooth setup and adoption from day one.

The Results: More Active Franchisees

After rolling out PromoRepublic, Archadeck saw a clear shift in franchisee engagement.

With calendars automatically filled with ready-to-go content, franchisees became more active, sharing posts and videos that resonated with local audiences. The Archadeck brand team gained full visibility into activity across all locations, making it easier to track performance and identify trends.

Looking ahead, the brand team will leverage leaderboards and performance data to highlight top-performing franchisees. These high performers will serve as examples for content strategy, helping scale best practices, inspire other locations, and maintain consistent engagement across the network.

The Challenge

Before PromoRepublic, local marketing at Empower Brands was fragmented.

Teams used different tools, posted on different schedules, and operated in silos. Franchisees had little visibility into what was being published on their behalf, and HQ could not track performance, run A/B tests, or optimize across brands.
The corporate marketing team, led by Jane Campbell and Annika Mitic, recognized the need to centralize efforts and give every brand and franchisee the tools to execute confidently and consistently.

PromoRepublic didn’t just integrate into our system — it helped us rethink how everything connects. Now, we have one platform that brings together every brand, every team, and every location with clarity and structure.
Annika Mitic, Director of Digital Marketing, Empower Brands

The Solution: A Scalable Activation Framework

At PromoRepublic, this is our framework for location activation, our proven recipe for helping multi-location businesses turn strategy into consistent local performance.

What does it mean to activate a location? It’s not just activity, it’s consistency and visibility. Key indicators include:

  • Profile completeness of 85% or more
  • Appearance in the Local 3-Pack
  • Timely review responses
  • A steady stream of fresh, relevant content on social media

For home services, local relevance is critical. Most engagement comes from neighborhood-level visibility — meaning high local content volume, fast responses, and consistent presence. While the mix of local and mass-localized content may vary by brand, the principle stays the same: consistent, on-brand local execution drives results.

This activation framework guided the rollout at Empower Brands and shaped their partnership with PromoRepublic.

Centralization
PromoRepublic became the single hub for managing digital presence, content, campaigns, and performance data across all 9 brands. Instead of scattered tools, Empower Brands now has unified workflows, brand-safe governance, and one place for head office and franchisees to get things done.
Customization & Flexibility
Each brand had different goals and maturity levels. PromoRepublic allowed Empower Brands to tailor dashboards, access levels, and KPIs by brand. Whether the goal was awareness, engagement, or lead generation, each team had what they needed to execute and measure effectively.
Hands-On Activation
PromoRepublic provided more than software. Our team worked side-by-side with Empower Brands marketing leadership to onboard brand by brand, support franchisees with playbooks and training, and continuously optimize post-launch. Adoption was never left to chance.

Scaling Local Relevance Without Losing Brand Control

To drive consistent performance, we also helped Empower Brands activate franchisees around content and campaigns. They encouraged local owners to post fresh, relevant content tailored to their communities, not as a side tactic, but as a key part of their growth strategy.

Empower adopted a 40/40/20 content model: 40% local, 40% localized, and 20% national. PromoRepublic made it easy to execute with brand-approved assets, suggested content plans, and a simple, guided publishing experience.

PromoRepublic helped us grow our social media presence and achieve the outcomes we expected.”
Bryan Vohsing, Marketing Manager, ohDEER

The Challenge

Google Business Profile (GBP) is the one of important channels for lead generation for ohDEER.

When potential customers first come across ohDEER on Google, they can interact with its listing in three ways: by visiting its website, calling, or requesting directions.

The marketing team’s goal is to grow the number of leads and offer them a free consultation.

To increase local sales, ohDEER needed a growing flow of local leads interacting with their GBP and the ability to gain insights into visibility and customer actions.

However, constantly checking all the key metrics is time-consuming enough for a single unit, let alone across multiple locations.

A significant part of ohDEER customers also goes to Facebook and Instagram to check the company’s activity and to read customers’ reviews. At this point, consistent social presence and review management became vital for building awareness and trust.

The Solution

OhDEER has chosen PromoRepublic as their local marketing platform to grow rankings on Google, bring in more leads, and ensure a consistent social media presence across all locations.

The team started using dashboards with aggregated data indicating how often ohDEER locations showed up in local searches and how these results could be optimized.

From the franchisees standpoint, the company improved marketing support by creating and distributing on-brand content to be posted on Facebook and Instagram. The corporate team also got a tool to manage communication and reviews faster.

Insights

Insights helped ohDEER track key metrics across search and social and spot opportunities for growth. Integrated GBP analytics allowed teams to see the number of total views vs. customers’ actions vs. the number of leads. This data helped to get more views and clicks within GBP.
Advanced Social Performance Analytics helped marketers identify the most liked/commented and shared content.

Review Management

All-in-one Social Inbox helped ohDEER quickly react to every direct message, comment, or review and keep response rate high. Their team succeeded in cutting response time by more than six times! Such a fast communication became possible through a single view where all communication is aggregated and managed.

Social Media Marketing

The head office scheduled on-brand content for their locations one month in advance allowing managers to edit templates for more local impact. Locations actively using PromoRepublic as their single tool for local marketing saw growth in traffic and engagement.

Digital Asset Management

The head office has distributed content across all locations to ensure consistent branding and posting. Franchisees could manage their social pages independently and decide whether to use only ready-to-go templates or add lifestyle content to their content plan.
