Distributed marketing breaks in predictable places. HQ creates plans. Locations execute inconsistently. Problems surface late. The same work repeats every week. AI generates content that still requires manual steps before it publishes.

H1 2026 was focused on closing those gaps — enforcing brand structure at the template level, making campaign execution reliable across every location, surfacing analytics that teams actually trust, and connecting the platform to external systems as a live data layer.

Q1 2026 — SOCIAL & CONTENT

Template Governance

What’s new

We launched Template Governance in the Graphic Editor. HQ teams can now group design elements into protected structures, lock logos and compliance text from editing, and define controlled image zones using Smart Image Frames.

Why it matters

Most brand inconsistency does not come from bad intent. It comes from operational freedom without structural safeguards. Logos move. Legal text disappears. Layouts break across locations. Review workflows alone are reactive — by the time a review catches a problem, the post has already gone out.

Template Governance shifts enforcement into the system itself. Locations still personalize content. The brand structure stays intact.

What changed

  • Design elements can be grouped into protected structures that cannot be separated or moved accidentally
  • Logos, legal disclaimers, and layout zones can be locked from editing while remaining fully visible
  • Smart Image Frames define exactly where local imagery appears, preserving the approved layout structure

Dynamic Fields

What’s new

Graphic elements inside templates can now be tagged with dynamic fields — phone number, address, location name, offer text. When HQ schedules a post, PromoRepublic renders a unique localized asset for each location automatically. No manual duplication. No per-location editing.

Why it matters

Distributed teams lose significant time rebuilding the same assets for different locations or manually localizing content before it can publish. Dynamic Fields removes both steps. Critical business information — the address, the phone number, the local offer — now appears directly on the creative, not just in caption copy that franchisees often skip or forget to update.

What changed

  • One HQ template generates unique per-location assets across the full network at scheduling time
  • Supported fields: location name, address, phone number, custom offer text
  • Advanced search across editor pages and objects also shipped — reducing time spent finding existing materials

Video Overlays

What’s new

Locations can now add branded overlays directly onto videos inside the Graphic Editor — logos, text, shapes, images — that persist throughout the full video duration.

Why it matters

Video creation breaks brand consistency faster than static content because most tools give locations full creative control. This update lets franchise teams publish localized video while preserving HQ-approved branding structures, without a separate design workflow or external tool.

Note: this is a branded overlay system, not a timeline editor. Video trimming is not currently supported.

Q1 2026 — AI & AUTOMATION

AI Assist — Connected Workflow

What’s new

AI-generated captions and review responses are now actionable immediately. When the system generates a caption or review reply, users move directly into publishing or responding — no copying text between screens.

Why it matters

The friction in AI tools is rarely the generation itself. It is the handoff. Generate, copy, switch screens, paste, continue. That sequence multiplies across every location in a network running it daily. Eliminating it reduces publishing effort, shortens review response time, and removes a step that was quietly causing teams to skip the AI feature entirely.

What changed

Previously, AI suggestions were standalone text outputs with no path to action. The workflow is now end to end: generation → editing → execution from a single view.

AI-Powered Content Workflows

What’s new

AI is now embedded across content creation workflows — not just in standalone suggestion panels. Teams can generate content in context, edit it, and publish without switching modes or tools.

Why it matters

AI that sits outside the publishing workflow gets ignored. Embedding it into the places where work already happens — post creation, review response, template editing — is what drives consistent adoption across a franchise network.

MCP Connector

What’s new

PromoRepublic now connects directly to external AI systems through MCP integrations. Teams can query live network performance, create posts, respond to reviews, build automated workflows, and pull data into external tools — in natural language. Works with Claude and ChatGPT.

Why it matters

Operational reporting in distributed organizations is still too manual. Teams export CSVs, build reports by hand, or wait for CS to pull recurring data. The MCP changes the workflow entirely — questions get answered in seconds, and the platform becomes a data source that external systems can build on, not just a dashboard teams have to log into.

What this enables

  • Scheduled network health digests delivered automatically
  • Automated franchisee nudges based on live performance signals
  • Custom dashboards built from live PromoRepublic data
  • Multi-source reporting pipelines combining social, reviews, and listings
  • Direct integrations with CRM, POS, and ad platforms

Q2 2026 — ANALYTICS

Analytics Accuracy + New View Metrics

What’s new

Multiple accuracy improvements shipped across views, impressions, exports, and TikTok page-level reporting. Analytics export is now available in JSON format alongside the existing options. New view metrics are live across relevant channels.

Why it matters

Distributed organizations cannot make operational decisions on data they do not trust. When numbers differ between exports, dashboards, and channels, teams stop using the system and revert to manual validation. These fixes reduce inconsistency and raise confidence in the numbers used for both location-level and executive reporting.

What changed

  • Analytics export now available in JSON for direct pipeline integration
  • New view metrics surfaced across channels
  • TikTok page-level metrics now more reliable
  • Impression calculations corrected across channels
  • Export consistency improved across formats

Facebook Metrics Update + Video Metrics

What’s new

Facebook analytics have been updated to reflect Meta’s latest API changes.

Why it matters

Meta’s measurement model is shifting from reach and impressions toward interaction-based metrics. Staying current with these API changes is necessary for reporting that reflects actual channel behavior. Teams relying on outdated metrics frameworks are measuring the wrong things.

Q2 2026 — MOBILE

Mobile Publishing Improvements

What’s new

A major set of mobile publishing improvements shipped: better social settings support, link previews while composing, location filtering improvements, and significant application performance gains.

Why it matters

Most franchisees are not in dashboards. They are on the floor, between customers, working from their phones. When mobile execution quality is low, platform adoption stays low regardless of what features exist on desktop. Several workflow gaps between mobile and desktop publishing have now been closed, with full parity the ongoing target.

Q1–Q2 2026 — CAMPAIGNS

Campaigns

What’s new

Campaigns is the largest structural addition to the platform in H1. It replaces spreadsheet-based campaign coordination with a centralized execution layer — running from HQ setup to per-location publishing automatically.

What HQ can now do

  • Create campaigns with dates, color coding, description, and granular targeting — by location, brand, tag, country, state, or city
  • Schedule post tasks that distribute to all enrolled locations by channel, with dynamic fields applied per location at conversion time
  • Publish, pause, resume, cancel, and archive campaigns with full lifecycle control
  • Enroll locations automatically based on targeting — no manual per-location setup
  • Link reusable branded templates to campaigns so franchisees have ready-made assets available the moment the campaign goes live
  • Duplicate any campaign into a fresh draft with all tasks and assets carried over

What franchisees can now do

  • See campaign tasks appear directly in their page calendar with clear campaign context
  • Approve tasks with one click — approved posts auto-publish at the scheduled time
  • Edit campaign post content before it publishes to adapt HQ content for their local audience

What was hardened in Q2

Campaigns now own their targeting independently.

An auto-labeling system was added so every published campaign generates a system-managed content label automatically — enabling post filtering by campaign and campaign-attributed analytics without any manual tagging.

Legacy campaigns from the previous system can now be migrated to Campaigns v1 via a guided admin flow, preserving name, dates, assets, and content.

Why it matters

Most franchise campaign execution today runs through reminders, spreadsheets, and manual follow-up. Execution quality varies by location. Campaigns replaces that model with a structured coordination layer that handles distribution, timing, and tracking — HQ sets the campaign once, the system handles the rest.

Q2 2026 — REVIEWS

Review Removal Workflow

What’s new

A structured workflow for managing review removal requests is now live. Teams can flag reviews and manage the process without relying on manual external steps.

Why it matters

Review removal has historically been a fully manual, ad hoc process — teams would handle it through support tickets or directly through platform interfaces. This workflow brings it into the platform particularly relevant for regulated verticals and enterprise accounts managing compliance across many locations.

Q2 2026 — ANALYTICS

AI Analytics Summary Widgets

What’s new

AI-generated analytics summaries are now live as widgets in the analytics views. The platform automatically surfaces plain-language summaries of performance — what changed, what is notable, and what needs attention — without requiring users to interpret raw data.

Why it matters

Most franchisees and many location managers are not data users. They do not read dashboards. They need to know what the numbers mean for their specific location, not what the numbers are. Analytics Summary Widgets make performance insight accessible to the full network — not just the HQ marketing team — which is where adoption and action actually happen.

For HQ teams, it reduces the time spent manually preparing location-level performance narratives for QBRs and reporting cycles.

At PromoRepublic, we unify social media, reviews, listings, and analytics infrastructure for multi-location and franchise brands.

Over the past year, we’ve shipped updates that fundamentally changed how franchise and multi-location brands execute local marketing. Not just “new features” but actual shifts in how HQ maintains control while local teams stay active.

In an era where AI-driven summaries (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini) act as the new gatekeepers of local discovery, your brand’s visibility depends on active, trusted, and local presence across each location. These updates ensure your locations are always the first choice for local buyers.

Here’s what we built, why it matters, and what changed for the chains and franchises using it.

1. The First Mobile AI Assistant for Local Marketing

What we built: A mobile-first AI Assistant that lives in the PromoRepublic app, designed for franchisees and local managers who work on their phones.

How it works: Instead of logging into a portal to figure out what to post, local operators open the app and ask:

  • “What should I post this week?”
  • “How do I reply to this review?”
  • “Why is my Google listing traffic down?”

The AI knows your brand voice, their permissions, and their performance data. It tells them the next action in seconds.

AI Assistant for local marketing

Why this matters: The biggest gap in local marketing isn’t strategy. Its execution. Most platforms are built for HQ teams who live in dashboards. Franchisees and store managers don’t. They’re on the floor, between customers, checking their phones.

When the tool meets them where they work, adoption goes from 20-30% to 75-80%.

What changed: Networks using the AI Assistant report that local teams are posting more consistently, replying to reviews faster, and asking for help instead of going silent. The difference? They don’t feel like they need a marketing degree to use it.

Learn more about the AI Assistant →

2. AI-Generated Review Responses That Stay On-Brand

What we built: AI-powered review response suggestions that draft replies in your brand voice, so local teams can respond in seconds, not hours.

How it works: When a new review comes in, the platform generates a draft response based on:

  • Your brand tone and guidelines
  • The sentiment of the review (positive, neutral, negative)
  • Context from the review itself

Teams can approve as-is, edit, or flag for manual handling if the situation is sensitive.

AI-generated review replies

Why this matters: In 2025, responsiveness became a ranking signal. Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and other AI search tools prioritize businesses that reply quickly to reviews. If you’re slow or silent, you’re invisible in the 3-7 business lists these tools generate.

What changed: Brands went from 40-50% review response rates to 90%+. Instead of reviews piling up unanswered, local teams handle them the day they come in. And because the AI follows brand guidelines, HQ doesn’t worry about rogue responses.

See how review management works →

3. Brand Guidelines Turned into an AI Engine

What we built: A system that transforms your static brand guidelines—audience, tone, value props, dos and don’ts—into guardrails that guide every piece of AI-generated content.

How it works: Instead of franchisees referencing a PDF (that they’ve never read), the AI uses your brand DNA to suggest posts, captions, and review replies that are already on-brand.

You define it once. The AI enforces it everywhere.

Brand guidelines for AI

Why this matters: Most platforms give you two bad options: rigid templates that feel robotic, or total freedom that leads to off-brand chaos. Brand Guidelines solves both: local teams get smart suggestions that sound like your brand. HQ gets consistency without approval bottlenecks.

What changed: Off-brand posts dropped to near zero because going off-brand became structurally harder than staying on-brand.

4. Multi-Image Templates for Swipeable Carousels

What we built: Templates in Asset Manager that support up to 10 images, designed for creating swipeable Instagram and Facebook carousels.

How it works: HQ creates the “brand frame”: the first and last slides with logos, CTAs, and approved messaging. Franchisees fill in the middle with local proof: their staff, their customers, their store.

Multi-images templates library

Why this matters: Social algorithms prioritize content that people engage with, and swipeable carousels keep people on the post longer. More swipes = more reach, without paid spend.

And because HQ controls the frame, every carousel stays on-brand even when 200 locations are creating their own versions.

What changed: Networks using multi-image templates saw 30-50% more engagement on local posts compared to single-image posts. And franchisees actually use them because the hard part (design, messaging) is already done.

5. Bulk Boosting to Activate Paid at Scale

What we built: A CSV-based workflow that lets you launch paid campaigns across hundreds of locations in one upload.

How it works: You create a campaign template, upload a CSV with location IDs and budgets, and hit go. Every location gets a paid boost without logging into 200 individual ad accounts.

Boosting posts at scale

Why this matters: Paid amplification shouldn’t take 10 hours to deploy. When you can launch campaigns in minutes, you can test faster, react to market shifts, and ensure every location has the support it needs.

What changed: Teams that used to boost 20-30 locations per campaign (because manual setup was brutal) now boost 200+. More locations running paid = more consistent traffic across the network.

6. Business System User for Meta: Enterprise-Grade Social Connection

What we built: Support for Meta’s Business System User connection, an enterprise-grade way to connect social accounts that doesn’t rely on personal profiles.

How it works: Instead of connecting via someone’s personal Facebook account (which breaks when they leave or change their password), the connection runs through a Business System User that’s tied to your Business Manager.

Business connection Meta

Why this matters: For agencies, white-label partners, and HQ teams managing dozens or hundreds of locations, the old connection model was fragile. Employee turnover meant broken accounts. Password resets meant re-authenticating everything. Business System User is stable, professional, and scalable.

What changed: Fewer “my social accounts are broken” support tickets. More uptime. Less time spent re-authenticating accounts every quarter.

7. YouTube Management Inside the Platform

What we built: Native YouTube integration for scheduling posts, managing multiple channels, and tracking audience growth.

How it works: Connect your YouTube channels, schedule videos, and see analytics, all inside PromoRepublic. No more jumping between tools.

youtube posting and analytics

Why this matters: YouTube is the second-largest search engine. For brands that use video (gyms, clinics, home services, QSR), managing YouTube separately from social was clunky. Now it’s one workflow.

What changed: Brands that were inconsistent on YouTube (because it was “one more platform to manage”) started posting regularly. Consistent posting = more subscribers = more local visibility in video search.

8. Automated Reporting That Sends Itself

What we built: Scheduled reports for Social, Google, Ads, and Campaigns that automatically send to your inbox (or your stakeholders’) on whatever schedule you set.

How it works: Choose a report type, set the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly), pick the delivery time, and walk away. Reports are generated and sent automatically.

You can adjust or turn them off whenever you want.

Why this matters: Pulling reports manually is a time tax. If you’re doing it weekly for 50 locations, that’s hours you’re not spending on strategy. Automate it, and that time goes back into your calendar.

What changed: Marketing teams went from spending 10-15 hours a week pulling reports to checking their inbox. Stakeholders get updates without asking. Everyone has the data they need, when they need it.

9. The Small Fixes That Make the Big Difference

These didn’t get their own blog posts, but they’re the updates that keep teams moving fast:

  • Refreshed Instagram dashboards that show performance trends at a glance, no digging required.
  • Stronger Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to protect brand accounts from unauthorized access.
  • Faster mobile app redesigned for local managers who are rarely at a desk.
  • Updated time zone handling so posts hit exactly when your local customers are active, not at midnight.

Why these matter: The small friction points like confusing analytics, slow mobile loads, posts going live at the wrong time compound. We removed enough of them, and the platform feels easier.

What Actually Changed in 2025

Here’s the pattern we saw across every chain using these updates:

Adoption went up. When tools are simple, mobile-first, and give clear next actions, local teams use them. Networks went from 20-30% activation to 75-80%.

Off-brand content went down. Brand guidelines baked into AI = consistent execution without approval bottlenecks.

Responsiveness went up. AI review responses + mobile notifications = 90%+ reply rates instead of 40-50%.

Why This Matters for 2026

Local discovery changed in 2025. AI Overviews (Google, ChatGPT, Gemini) now appear in 68% of local searches. These tools show 3-7 businesses instead of 10 blue links.

If your locations aren’t consistently active which means posting, replying, keeping data fresh, they’re invisible to your customers.

Local marketing isn’t just a line on a budget anymore, it’s the growth engine behind every franchise network.

Think about how people actually find a business today.
They don’t start with a national campaign. They see a Google profile, a post, or a review from the nearest location.
And that moment decides whether they walk through your door or someone else’s.

  • Local content now drives more than 2.5× higher engagement on social media than national brand posts.
  • AI Overviews now appear in nearly 70% of local business searches.

Your visibility in those real-time moments either fuels your growth or slows it down. But here’s the truth: most local teams still aren’t active.

Our data shows fewer than one in five franchisees log in to their marketing tools regularly. The dashboards exist, but activation doesn’t. That’s because most platforms were built for HQ, not for the people actually running the stores, restaurants, or gyms.

And in 2025, that gap between strategy and action has become the biggest barrier to growth.

Why Most Marketing Platforms Don’t Work for Franchisees

Across hundreds of franchise and multi-location brands, the story’s the same: they have tools — but not a true command center to connect every location.

Data is scattered. Visibility is limited. Execution is inconsistent.

Franchisees know marketing matters, but they’re busy running their business — hiring, serving, solving problems. Marketing slips to the bottom of the list, delegated or dropped entirely.

Meanwhile, HQ spends hours chasing approvals and fixing off-brand posts. Corporate feels like it’s micromanaging; franchisees feel overwhelmed.

The reason is simple: most tools weren’t built for them.

AI platforms can write content but don’t understand brand structures, permissions, or performance data. Competitors focus on HQ analytics — not activation in the field.

But that’s where marketing actually happens.

Franchisees don’t want dashboards. They want to post, reply, and act fast from their phones. Mobile isn’t secondary anymore — it’s the workplace.

Our data proves it: 65% of PromoRepublic users prefer mobile-first tools.

Local execution has been the hardest challenge to solve — until now.

The Superhuman Advantage for Every Marketer and Franchisee

At PromoRepublic, we’ve spent years helping distributed brands unify their social, listings, and reviews.
Across every client, one pattern kept emerging: great strategy, poor adoption.

So we asked, What if AI could activate franchisees, not just automate HQ?

That question led to the creation of the PromoRepublic AI Assistant, the first mobile AI built specifically for local marketing.

It’s data-driven, on-brand, and on-the-go. Embedded directly in the PromoRepublic platform, it’s like having a ChatGPT that understands your brand voice, permissions, and performance data — and lives where your teams already work.

This isn’t another chatbot or dashboard widget. It’s a superhuman teammate that expands the capacity of every marketer and franchisee.

Why It’s a Game-Changer for Franchisees

For the first time, AI is being built not for headquarters but for franchisees.

PromoRepublic’s AI Assistant gives every franchisee an marketing coach in their pocket — one that guides, answers, and supports without requiring agency services or constant oversight.

HQ, on the other hand, gains peace of mind knowing that every post, reply, and insight stays on-brand, compliant, and measurable.

Partners are already seeing results:

  • Up to 80% of locations activated
  • 30–50% of repetitive work automated
  • Significant growth in local visibility and engagement

How It Works Day-to-Day

Think of it as a brand-safe marketing assistant that’s always available.

A coffee shop owner opens the app and asks, “What should I post today?” Within seconds, three ready-to-publish ideas that match brand voice and local trends pop up.

A gym manager sees a review come in and gets a thoughtful, on-brand response, ready to approve or edit.

A field coach checks area performance and instantly spots which stores are falling behind, with suggestions on how to re-engage them.

No training. No new tools. No waiting. Just one conversational interface that connects smart AI guidance with real marketing action.

Built for Scale, Security, and Brand Safety

The AI Assistant is part of the PromoRepublic platform, with no add-ons or surprise fees. It’s already trusted by more than 110 franchise and enterprise networks, including Empower Brands, Threshold Brands, Metcash/IGA, and Expedia Cruises.

Powered by GPT-4o and built with enterprise-grade compliance, it’s designed to scale securely across entire systems, giving you activation without sacrificing governance.

At PromoRepublic, we’ve spent years helping brand groups, franchises, and chains grow their digital presence across thousands of locations. But we kept seeing the same pattern: marketing strategy is strong at HQ, but local execution struggles to keep up.

That’s why we built PromoRepublic AI — a new layer of automation and intelligence embedded directly into our platform to bridge the gap between strategy and execution.

Why AI? Why Now?

Across 10+ brand groups and 25,000 locations, we noticed the same operational pain points:

  • Campaigns not reaching the store level
  • Training not landing effectively
  • Outdated listings and slow responses to reviews
  • Franchisees feeling lost or overwhelmed

These seemingly small breakdowns add up to inconsistent performance, lost local visibility, and delayed time-to-market. Our goal was clear: empower teams to do less manual coordination and drive more local impact.

What is PromoRepublic AI?

PromoRepublic AI is an ecosystem of built-in Assistants and Agents designed to automate and guide local marketing workflows. It helps your team move faster and execute smarter across every brand, region, and location.

Here’s what’s inside:

  • Composer – Creates brand-safe, localized social posts and review replies
  • Assistant – Delivers natural-language insights across your brand and locations
  • Agents – Automate brand-compliant actions across social, listings, and reviews

And yes, it works with or without human input. Whether your team is lean or at scale, AI handles repeatable tasks and adapts in real time to local needs.

Powered by Real-Time Data

This AI doesn’t guess. It runs on a robust data warehouse that integrates GA4, Google Search Console, POS, and CRM systems. That means full-funnel visibility — and smarter decisions from HQ to the field.

“Generic automation can’t handle multi-brand complexity,” says Roxy Badun, our Head of Product and Customer Success. “PromoRepublic AI is rule-based where you need it and adaptive where you don’t.”

What We’re Seeing So Far

Early adopters are seeing 70%+ local activation within just three months. They’re consolidating tools, speeding up execution, and delivering real, measurable ROI without adding more people.

Campaign kits are reaching locations faster. Replies happen in under 24 hours. And performance dashboards give both HQ and field teams the data they need to act.

Ready to See It in Action?

PromoRepublic AI is now available in the U.S., Canada, UK, Nordics, Australia, and New Zealand. You can request a demo or apply for beta access 👉 here.

Managing marketing across multiple brands and locations isn’t just complex. It’s often broken.

Activation gap between strategy at HQ and execution

Franchise marketing doesn’t struggle because people don’t care — it struggles because execution doesn’t scale.

The breakdown happens in the handoff: campaigns stall before reaching locations, training doesn’t stick, and content sits unpublished. It’s not about effort. It’s about a system that wasn’t built for how teams actually work.

Corporate is left with a tough choice: centralize everything or accept low franchisee engagement.

To eliminate that trade-off,  PromoRepublic has launched a solution built specifically to scale execution: a centralized, AI-powered platform with hands-on support that activates marketing across every brand and location in your group.

Because presence + participation at the local level is what wins today.

Three Pillars That Power Real Results

Centralization

Most brand groups deal with a patchwork of vendors, tools, and teams. PromoRepublic replaces that chaos with one hub to manage your digital presence, campaigns, assets, and insights—tailored to your brand structure.

✅ Outcome: Consistent, on-brand marketing in every brand and location.

Automation

Generic automation can’t keep up with the realities of multi-brand operations. PromoRepublic brings customizable AI workflows that reflect your brand logic and business rules—from campaign distribution to automatic replies and listing updates.

✅ Outcome: Faster execution, lower manual effort, and scalability.

Activation

Software adoption fails when support is generic and onboarding doesn’t stick. PromoRepublic fast-tracks onboarding with brand-specific training, hands-on support, and activation playbooks designed for franchisees even new to marketing.

✅ Outcome: Higher adoption, faster time-to-value, and better franchisee experience.

Bridging the Gap Between HQ Strategy and Local Activation

We believe execution should be shared between people and AI. Fast, adaptive, and automatic — but human-aware. The structure is the starting point for activation. You can’t scale what isn’t organized.

If your tech stack doesn’t reflect how your brand group actually functions—your architecture, your regions, your roles—it will break under pressure.

That’s why PromoRepublic’s platform is built to be:

  • Modular — customizable by brand, region, or line of business
  • Permission – aware — different levels of visibility and control for HQ and field teams
  • AI-powered — with smart workflows that trigger actions, with or without human approval

So whether you’re running marketing for 3 brands or 30, across 50 or 5,000 locations, you can deploy campaigns, localize content, and respond to reviews—at scale and on brand.

Why This Matters Now

Over 80% of the market has tried some form of marketing software—but too often, the results fall flat.

Maybe the platform didn’t deliver ROI.
Maybe the vendor disappeared after onboarding.
Maybe the automation wasn’t really built for your needs.

We built PromoRepublic to be the opposite.
